This recipe takes the childhood dynamic duo to our adulthood. Peanut butter and jelly oatmeal is a deliciously salty and sweet way to start the day.
PB&J Oatmeal Recipe
A childhood favorite…a forever favorite.
I don’t know about you, but peanut butter and jelly has to be one of the most perfectly delicious and satisfying combinations on this planet.
Between two slices of bread, flavors for a smoothie, topped on crackers…you name it. Peanut butter and jelly is the ultimate dream team.
Obviously, we had to put it in an oatmeal recipe.
Oatmeal is an incredible way to start the day. Oats are full of fiber and protein and is most commonly known for lowering blood sugar and cholesterol levels. They also contain antioxidants: cleansing and detoxifying from the inside with food.
You can cook your oats with non-dairy milk or you can just use water. The flavor difference is not so obvious, so either way they will be delicious.
This specific oatmeal recipe uses raspberries as the “jelly”, but feel free to use any kind of berry or combination of berries that you’d prefer.

The great thing about oatmeal is that it’s versatile and can be topped with so many different things in any combination you’d like – so try out one of your own creations.
Delicious & filling peanut butter and jelly oatmeal.
- 1/2 cup organic rolled oats
- 1 cup almond milk (or water)
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 tbsp raw walnuts
- 1 tbsp raw organic cacao nibs
- 1/2 cup raspberries
- 1 tbsp of natural peanut butter (earth balance)
- Dash cinnamon
- Dash brown sugar
- drizzle organic honey (maple syrup or agave)
Combine rolled oats with water (or milk) in a saucepan and heat on medium-high, until boiling, stirring frequently
Pour into bowl, adding cinnamon and a dash of brown sugar
Top with sliced banana, raspberries, cocoa nibs, walnuts, and peanut butter
